Explore More Discovery Museum is a great place for your students to explore a variety of subjects. Interactive experiences ensure that students internalize concepts while having fun! Check out the options below!
Free Explore | $7.50 per child
Trips are for preschool groups or other school groups that desire to have a self-guided experience. Free Explore trips are scheduled in 1.5 hour blocks. Children will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of subjects including literacy, mathematics, science, art and more.
Focused Field trips | $9.00 per child
Are for students in grades K-5 and are scheduled in 2 hour blocks. Students spend approximately half the time exploring the museum on their own and the other half in a guided, SOL-based classroom lesson. $100 minimum.
Maker City Field Trips for Grades 4 & 5
Invent, construct, problem-solve and collaborate! Each workshop will offer instructional time in our makerspace where participants will experiment with a wide variety of maker tools and materials. Groups will spend additional time exploring museum exhibits.
