play without boundaries
Saturday, January 11 from 8:30 - 10 AM

We understand that for some children with autism, learning differences, and other sensory or communication needs, a visit to an interactive museum like Explore More can be difficult or overstimulating. Play without Boundaries is a low sensory event where children and their families can explore the Museum without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of a typical day. During this time, the museum will be closed to the general public and families will have access to the entire museum as well as Quiet Zones stocked with calming, sensory toys. Advance registration is required for this free event!

Thanks to UVA Pediatrics Harrisonburg and Community Foundation Blue Ridge of Central Blue Ridge for their generous sponsorship to make these events possible!

Future Dates: February 8, March 8
