THIRD GRADE FIELD TRIPS:

• Simple Machines:  Why are simple machines so important, and how do they help us?  Students will discover the answer to these and many other questions as they construct examples of simple machines and put them to use. 

• World of Economics: Using the book “Goat in the Rug” as a starting point, students will explore concepts of specialization, goods, services, and natural, capital and human resources. They will then use real money to purchase the materials they need to create a special weaving project.
