The third year of the annual Artist Apprenticeship Program for aspiring young artists, ages 8-12, is off to a great start. In this unique program, small groups of students are working closely with local professional artists who will serve as their mentors during the four week series.

Students will receive in-depth instruction from their mentor artist, while both mentor and mentee spend time creating works to display. It was our goal that youth participants experience the entire process, from concept to critiquing, refining, and showcasing their work. This program will culminate with a gallery showing and reception on March 7 from 5 - 7 PM during the downtown First Friday event. Invited guests and community members had the opportunity to see works from both students and their artist mentors.

This opportunity was made possible thanks to the generosity of our lead sponsor, Kathy Moran Wealth Group | Raymond James, and supporting sponsor Brown Edwards.

Thanks to our generous program sponsors!
