Sign up quickly for this free workshop--space is limited! Local JMU students need your help with a with a real life STEM Project about collecting atmospheric information for climate change research. The first class will be held at the museum and students will engage in hands on games and activities to learn how scientists collect data from the atmosphere. They will also have a chance to build their own weather balloon.
A second session opportunity will be held on the campus of JMU where students will be able to witness and help with the actual launch of the weather balloon (date to be determined)! Attendance at the first is required to participate in the weather balloon launch.
Ages 6-12, free program but pre-registration required.
