It’s time for the Great Community Give! This exciting one-day, online giving event was started by The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Foundation to inspire philanthropy in our community through charitable donations. Explore More is one of over 100 charities participating that day. You can make a difference by choosing to support Explore More on Wednesday, June 24th!

WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE?

Now more than ever, YOUR museum needs YOU to keep the power of play alive for all children in the Shenandoah Valley. Did you know that Explore More is a non-profit organization and that 40% of the museum’s operating budget comes from the private support of generous friends like you? During these challenging times, fundraising has become more significant than ever before. That's why events like the Great Community Give are so important -- we simply can't do it without you!

DID YOU HEAR THE NEWS? YOUR GIFT COULD MULTIPLY!

We’ve met a guy who loves Explore More so much he’s made a pledge to celebrate YOU during the Great Community Give! On June 24, you log in and make a gift of $25 or more, and he will kick in $100 just to say “thank you”. But wait, there’s more! Make your gift during the “Power Hour” from 7 – 8 p.m., and he’s going to kick in $200 for you! So you give $50, suddenly it becomes $250. You give $100, suddenly it becomes $300! How cool is that! Make the most of your investment and take advantage of this exciting match!

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS POWER HOUR…

There are a number of power hours throughout the day to help win extra prize money from The Community Foundation. Each participating non-profit is encouraged to choose one hour to focus on. Explore More has selected the LAST hour of the day on June 24, from 7 – 8 p.m.! If you want to make your gift the most “powerful”, be sure to time your gift during that hour to maximize prize money and the special donor match!

Once you’ve made your gift, be sure to spread the word and invite your friends and family to join you! We will have special social media tools you can use all day to help tell your story about why YOU believe in the POWER of PLAY.

CAN'T PARTICIPATE THAT DAY?

We understand that not everyone can be with us on the 24th. No worries! You can utilize the “early giving” timeframe, making your gift any time between June 10 and June 23, and you'll be counted among our donors on the big day! GIVE EARLY TODAY!
